Provost McNairy requested that the Chairperson of the Faculty Senate appoint members to draft a response to a highly critical report from Pennsylvania Association Scholars and Commonwealth Foundation that had been printed in the media.

Discussion of General Education Review proposal for courses of less than three credit hours postponed until October 6, meeting.

Professor Emeritus Status Recommended for Dr. Ronald E. Sykes.

The Senate received a report and Mission Statement of the Millersville University Center for academic Excellence from Center Director Pat Hill.
