The minutes of the December 7, 2010 meeting of the Faculty Senate were approved as written.

(1) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE COURSE
BIOL 485: Animal Behavior, 3 credits. Proposal to add W label was approved without dissent.

(2) NEW UNDERGRADUATE COURSE
BIOL 344: Population and Community Ecology, 3 credits. Proposal to offer a course to explore advanced concepts in ecology was approved without dissent.

(3) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
BIOL BS: Environmental Biology option. Proposal to modify required environmental biology, directed electives, and required related courses and add a research experience was approved without dissent.

(4) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
SOWK BA: major. Proposal to change SOWK 350: Encounters in Human Diversity from an elective to a required course was approved without dissent.

(5) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE COURSE
SOWK 321/330: Social Work Research, 3 credits. Proposal to renumber course from SOWK 321 to SOWK 330 and add W label was approved without dissent.

(6) NEW UNDERGRADUATE COURSE
SOWK 314: International Social Work, 3 credits. Proposal to offer a course to introduce students to social work practice and history around the world was approved without dissent.

(7) NEW UNDERGRADUATE COURSE
SOWK 201: Social Welfare Policy and Economics, 3 credits. Proposal to offer a course to understand economic theory as it relates to practice with individuals and effects in the policy arena was approved without dissent.
