The minutes of the November 6, 2012 meeting of the Faculty Senate were approved as corrected.

(1) NEW GRADUATE COURSE
NURS 504: Nursing Informatics and Healthcare Technology, 3 credits. Proposal to teach ways in which information and technology influence nursing practice, including legal, ethical, cultural, economic, and social factors was approved without dissent.

(2) DELETION OF GRADUATE COURSE
NURS 514: Family Health Nursing, 2 credits. Proposal to delete course by integrating concepts of family health nursing into other courses was approved without dissent.

(3) CHANGE TO GRADUATE CURRICULUM
MS Nursing. Proposal to adjust program credits to reflect removal of NURS 514 and addition of NURS 504 was approved without dissent.

(4) CHANGE TO GRADUATE CURRICULUM
MS Nursing. Proposal to add nursing core courses as prerequisites for advanced nursing practice courses was approved without dissent.

A Baker/Kelly motion to waive the two-meeting rule for voting on ECON 507 proposal was approved without dissent.

(5) NEW GRADUATE COURSE
ECON 507: Environmental Economics and Policy, 3 credits. Proposal for course to explore economic issues and public policy concerns of pollution, resource allocation, conservation, land and species preservation, sustainability, and biodiversity was approved without dissent.

A Marquez/Walsh motion to call to question action on the two-meeting waiver for the Allied Health Respiratory Therapy and Biology Respiratory Therapy proposals was approved without dissent.

A Wagner/Snyder motion to waive the two-meeting rule for voting on the Allied Health Respiratory Therapy and Biology Respiratory Therapy proposals was approved with two dissenting votes.

(6) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
BS Allied Health, Respiratory Therapy option. Proposal to define minimum requirements and admission policies for Allied Health Respiratory Therapy students entering the professional training phase was approved with two dissenting votes.

(7) CHANGE TO UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
BS Biology, Respiratory Therapy option. Proposal to define minimum requirements and admission policies for Biology Respiratory Therapy students entering the professional training phase was approved with two dissenting votes.
