HIST 383: European Imperialism in Africa, c. 1870-1914, 3 credits, G3, W. Proposal for course to provide an informed understanding of major themes in late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Africa, with a particular focus on the impact of British, French, Belgian, and German imperialism was approved without dissent.

(4) NEW UNDERGRADUATE CURRICULUM
Interdepartmental minor: Heliophysics and SpaceWeather. Proposal for a minor incorporating courses in Earth Science and Physics to prepare students for careers in space weather was approved without dissent.
