As the President's designee, I am informing you of the approval of the
following Faculty Senate Curricular Actions:
1. Faculty Senate actions at meeting on March 17, 1998
--NURS 560 School Nursing (5 credits)
Approved, effective Fall 1998
COMMENT: This course replaces NURS 323 Health Assessment of the Well child
and NURS 425 The Nurse in School and Community, which should be deleted
from the undergraduate catalog.
General Education labels for Existing Undergraduate Courses:
--ESCI 241 Meteorology: reinstate labels of G2, Q, and Lab.
Approved, effective retroactive to Fall 1997
Other Course Changes:
--BIOL 471 Topics in Biology: variable credit course changing
from 1-3 credits to 1-4 credits.
