SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF FACULTY SENATE CURRICULAR RECOMMENDATIONS

As the President's designee, I am informing you of the approval of the following Faculty Senate Curricular Actions:

Faculty Senate action at June 11, 202, meeting:

Changes in Courses/Curricula:

Reduce Required Credits for General Education

Delete the elective course required for the G4 block
The G4 elective is described as: "A second Perspectives course or an approved Liberal Arts Core course not already counted in blocks G1, G2 or G3".
Reduce required credit needed for the G4 block from at least 18 to at least 15 credits
Reduce overall required credits for General Education from at least 54 credits to at least 51 credits
