    • Per University Governance, no student

      Senate approved the exception of a
      minimum of 18 credits from courses in
      the same department based on
      precedent set by the same department
      in the minors of American Literature and
      British Literature and Deans' Council
      concurs with their decision.

    • Film Studies minor replaces the
      Film/Literature minor as of Spring 2006
      (200620), placing the Film/Literature in
      moratorium as of fall, 2005 (200560).
      Students will be able to declare the new
      option as of SPRING 2006.

    COMMENT: These academic proposals were referred to Dean Short at the June 18, 2003, Deans' Council meeting for discussions with the Department of English regarding needs assessment, resource analysis and duplication of programs.
