Faculty Senate Elections |

Senate will continue its annual elections for open positions on
senate committees. Among other positions, senate needs to fill a
nonschool position that expires in 1997 on the Noonan Fund Committee.
It needs to elect a chairperson of the Academic Policies Committee
whose term excpires in 1997. It also needs to elect a member of the
UCPRC from the School of Education. |

Senator R. Benson will move that senate refer to the Academic
Policies Committee the question of the appropriate curricular review
process for departmental handbooks and guidebooks. |

Policies Committee the determination of a requirement that a
department that offers an undergraduate degree must specify
and distribute to students the degree requirements. |
