Discussion of Proposal for Institution of an Award Recognizing Teaching Excellence at Millersville University

Both Chairperson Piperberg and Dr. Yalda are still in the process of collecting relevant information. Discussion will continue once this information is available at the February 5, 2002 meeting.

    Other/New Business

Dr. Piperberg called the Senate's attention to revised cover sheets for Graduate and Undergraduate course and program proposals that were distributed. The revision involves the addition of a check box to each cover sheet noting the addition of the appropriate Decanal Resource Implications statement. It is hoped that this new item will serve as a reminder that this statement must be attached to a proposal before it is sent to the Undergraduate and Graduate Course and Program Review Committees (UCPRC and GCPRC). The cover sheets will be placed on the agenda for consideration at the February 5, 2002 meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 4:30 PM

    Respectfully submitted,

    Jen Miller
