BRING WATER TO A BOIL

For most types of rice, you'll always use a ratio of 1 cup rice to 2 cups water, which you can scale up or down to your choosing. (Double-check your rice packaging to be sure though.)

Feel free to add in chicken or vegetable broth for more flavor for the rice or any other flavorful addition you might want to make the best tasting rice possible.

Once the water has come to a boil start adding in the rice and salt also a slab of butter which will make it taste even better

And when it is time to simmer put the rice on low fire for 18 minutes and don't lift open the lid but check on the fire now and again if anything starts spilling over out of nowhere.
