2. Faculty Senate action at September 19, 1995, meeting
--COMM422: Advanced Audio Production Techniques (3 s.h., 3 contact hours)
Approved.

3. Faculty Senate actions at February 20, 1996, meeting.
--CHEM476: Environmental Chemistry (4 s.h., 6 contact hours)
Approved.

4. Faculty Senate actions at April 2, 1996, meeting
--Statistics minor
Approved.
--AFAM401: Senior Seminar in African American Studies (3 s.h., 3 contact hours)

Approved, with the following revisions (Item #3 only) which are highlighted for emphasis.
IMPLEMENTATION...
3. A student on departmental probation will have 30 semester hours (attempted to make up the deficiency by repeating courses in which grades lower than C were received. XXXXXXXXX Missing Text XXXXXXXXXX. If the student has not corrected the deficiency after 30 additional attempted semester hours, the current academic advisor will inform the student that he/she is no longer an Earth Sciences major. The current academic advisor will schedule an appointment for the student to meet with the Academic Advisement Office, which will assist the student in processing a "Change of Major" form.
--Withdrawal Policy Revision
Approved, as written with the understanding that "W" grades are due to the Registrar no later than 4 p.m. of the ninth week of the semester.
--Grading Policy Revision--Plus/Minus Grades
Approved, as written, with the understanding that the policy will be in a state of transition during its initial implementation during the 1996-97 academic year--with full implementation scheduled to begin with the 1997-98 academic year.

6. Faculty Senate actions at May 7, 1996, meeting:

--ESCI320: Roads West: Geology, Technology, Society and the American Experience (3 s.h., 3 contact hours)
