SUBJECT:	FACULTY SENATE CURRICULAR RECOMMENDATIONS

I am informing you that the Provost's Office has received, on Monday, March 22, 2004, the following Actions of the Faculty Senate from its 16 of March, 2004, meeting. Curricular actions include:

• changes in course/curricula for ECON 101, 102.
• changes to the required related requirements for the B.A. Economics program, B.A. Economics Financial Economics and Political Economy programs.
• new undergraduate course - HIST 276.

On April 14th, our office also received the following Actions of the Faculty Senate from its 6 of April, 2004, meeting. Those curricular actions include:

• changes in course/curricula for the Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Special Education
• recommendation for a one-year extension for the Director of the International Studies Program

These matters will be addressed at the April 21, 2004, Deans' Council meeting.

For your information, Deans' Council will schedule Faculty Senate curricular actions at the third meeting of the month unless canceled. If a Deans' Council meeting is canceled where curricular actions were on the agenda, they will be reviewed at the next meeting.
