SUBJECT:	FACULTY SENATE CURRICULAR RECOMMENDATIONS

I am informing you that the Provost's Office has received on April 19, 2006, the following Actions of the Faculty Senate from its April 18, 2006, meeting. Curricular actions include:

• New undergraduate course CSCI 475 - 3D Game Programming & Computer Animation
• New undergraduate program option - AS Chemistry, Pre-Pharmacy option
• Change in courses/curricula: CHEM 232 - Organic Chemistry II. Change pre-requisite of CHEM 231 to requiring a C- or better in CHEM 231.
• Change in courses/curricula: Post-Baccalaureate Certification Program in Special Education - delete Art, Music or Technology Education for Special Education course and ADD EDUC 561 - Second Language Acquisition: Theory, Programs & Assessment

These matters will be addressed at the May 17, 2006, Deans' Council meeting.

For your information, Deans' Council will schedule Faculty Senate curricular actions at the third meeting of the month unless canceled. If a Deans' Council meeting is canceled where curricular actions were on the agenda, they will be reviewed at the next meeting.
