The following change has been identified as a minor curricular change for the Computer Science department, effective for SPRING 2007 early registration.

Course	Curricular Change
CSCI 111 - Problem Solving with Visual Basic	Remove pre-requisites - CSCI 101 and permission of instructor
CSCI 121 - Introduction to Internet Programming	Remove pre-requisites - CSCI 101 and permission of instructor

Rationale: The pre-requisite was required at a time when personal computers (PCs) were not commonplace. Today, most students tend to be well versed in the fundamentals of performing calculations, creating tables and making reports and graphs based on these calculations. Removing the pre-requisites makes the course more accessible to students.
