Senator and Chair of the UCPRC McCotter presented a change in the prerequisite for CHEM 111. X. GCPRC Proposals
Policies Governing Graduate Courses Senator and Chair Mowrey of GCPRC introduced a change in the policy regarding academic appeals for graduate students. The wording change in the policy firms up the procedure for academic appeals and more clearly delineates the pathway to be followed. In response to Senator Rohena's question, Senator Mowrey clarified that this policy applies only to students in the master's degree programs and not to the students pursuing only certification. This distinction will be clear in the catalogue and other language will be used for the certification-only students. The change in the existing policy passed without dissent.
