Delamination of Hypoblast Cells
Cells from the epiblast randomly delaminate and fall inward.
Kohler’s Sickle extends toward anterior
Notes:
Cells from the epiblast of the embryo delaminate at random and fall inward into the subgerminal space. These cells form islands, which are later connected by the convergent extension of Kohler’s sickle, a region of cells at the posterior end. This helps to form the primitive gut.
