The Graduate Course and Program Review Committee has three courses for approval: EDTE590, SPED578, and SPED671.
IX. Removal of the 9-Hour Graduate Residency Requirement
Senate will debate the removal of the 9-Hour Graduate Residency Requirement (See Attachment C of 3 October 1995 Minutes )
X. Faculty Senate Elections
Senate will resume its annual elections since there are still vacancies on committees to fill. one vacancy is for a School of Education representative to the Undergraduate Course and Program Review Committee to fill the unexpired term of the new chairperson. Another is for a Humanities representative to the Committee for a term that expires in 1997. Chairperson D. Widam will take nominations in advance for the openings that are still vacant. Senate will take nominations and hold elections at the time of the meeting.
The following senate committee positions are currently vacant:
Humanities and Fine Arts representative to the Academic Policies Committee.
Social Sciences representatives to the Academic Outcomes Assessment Committee, Academic Policies Committee, and the UCPRC.
non-School representative to the General Education Review Committee, and
Alternate to the International Selection Committee
