We
cannot conclude with certainty exactly how RA or
poly-l-lysine affects the face, since the cells did not
adhere properly. That fact , in itself, should indicate that
face cells have some different properties than either the
wing cells or hind limb cells. Unfortunately, our experiment
was not successful in the way we wanted it to be, however we
cannot lose sight of this ultimate realization that face
cells have different properties. Hopefully, this insight
will lead to future investigation of chondrogenesis in the
craniofacial region.
