For My AENG 357: Packaging and Specialty Printing class, I was tasked with multiple printing and packaging projects. Below are the projects and a brief description of them.
FLEXOGRAPHIC LABEL PROJECT GUIDELINES
The purpose of this project was to design and plan the production of a flexographic-printed label. This Wine label was designed with 4 Pantone colors. The label was printed with a Inline Flexopress.
AICC BOX DESIGN PROJECT
The purpose of this project was to work in a small group to complete two prototypes of a Millersville Welcome Package. Each prototype will include a sleeve for shipping, an outer designed box, a smaller packaging box, with an insert to hold package items. The project below was designed for 3 items, a mug, a hat, and a lanyard. I worked as the Project Manager and CAD Director. I oversaw keeping the group on task and overseeing the entire project, as well as working with the ArtiosCAD software. Being Project Manager and CAD Director was a difficult task. The graphics were printed on Adhesive vinyl with a large format inkjet printer (Epson 9900). The graphics were then applied to corrugated board and a ESKO Cutting table was used to score and the corrugated board into the shape of the box. This project was the Final Project for the semester in my class AENG: 357.
