Citizen Gatherings for Intelligent Social Change

Citizen gatherings are ordinary people getting together to educate themselves on what is of greatest concern to the group and what action must be taken. The time-honored process was effective for the labor movement and civil rights. Popular education, as it is termed, is an informal process that causes thinking, planning and doing. The process builds group intelligence that comes from the experiences of the group.
