Girl Power Summer Camp 2014

June 23rd- 27th– Mad Scientist

If you like to explore new challenges, mix up ingredients, build rockets as you explore space, and build with Lego’s, then this is the week for you! I wonder what wondrous substances you will create as you become a real scientist.

June 30th– July 3rd– Cultures Around the World

Get your passports ready! No time to waste! We will travel to different countries and meet the people and cultures that make up our world. Sample dances, foods, games, music, art, and much more as we follow our itinerary to great adventures.

July 7th– July 11th – Friendship

Participate in a variety of fun filled activities that will help you to learn more about each other and yourself. Find out who the most important person in the world is. I’ll bet you’ll never guess! Develop your creative talents, play indoor and outdoor games, and much more.

July 14th– July 18th– Jungle Adventures

Lions and tigers and bears oh my! What is your favorite animal in the jungle? Put on your safari hat and help us to explore the jungles of the world. There will be plenty of time for games, arts and crafts, and cooking too!

July 21st – July 25th– Lights, Camera, Action

The stage is set, the props made, but wait… We need a play and some actresses. Join in the excitement as you create a play, hold a casting call to select your actresses, and produce and rehearse your play

July 28th– August 1st–Lights, Camera, Action and Under Construction

You will need to create your scenery, costumes and props all in preparation for your performance on July 25th. In addition, explore the world of an engineer as you build a catapult, learn about simple machines and try your hand at construction challenges. How successful will you be in meeting the challenges? As an engineer, if it doesn’t work the first time, try and try again!

August 4th–August 8th– Sports Challenge

Are you ready to experience some challenges? Try your hand at basic ballet, yoga, and fencing fun. Learn the basic fundamentals of basketball, volleyball and softball. You will all be champions after competing in this session.
